Sochin is a facinating kata with sudden changes of pace from aggressive fast movements to slow movements building up inner tension. Quite popular in competition this kata uses manly the difficult to master fudo-dachi, or sochin-dachi as it is also known. The feelining in this kata, like with the stance should be one of imovableness, even in the face of the greatest threat.
